Tournament Fishing

As I look back, I think this is our seventh year of tournament fishing. Does it get any easier? No, just more expensive. You know about all those 'gotta haves' because they walleye are hitting on certain colors, or certain kinds of tackle. Can't let the opportunity to go by, have to get more tackle and see if it is the one that will get the job done. Of course, I have the best partner in the world. My husband Bill. We are a fantastic team. We are halfway through this year already and it is going to be June 1st tomorrow. We are in ninth place in the standings of the Michigan Walleye Tour as far as points toward the championship so far. Hope we can keep it there or even higher. We have two more tournaments on Saginaw Bay, and the Bay changes daily with the changes in temperature. It is a challenge, and we are ready for it!
